Monoclonal Anti-Caldesmon antibody produced in mouse
clone C21, ascites fluid
| MDL number: | MFCD00164554 |
Description
| Immunogen | chicken caldesmon |
| Specificity | The antibody is directed against an epitope near the carboxy-terminus, Ca2+/calmodulin and F-actin binding site of caldesmon.1 Using ELISA, the antibody is able to inhibit caldesmon binding to Ca2+/calmodulin and F-actin. By immunoblotting,2 the antibody shows broad species reactivity to non-muscle caldesmon of mammalian cells. |
